People: Who’s Moving Where Around the HCM Tech World

New hires, promotions and other personnel moves throughout the HCM technology community.

Vibe HCM hired Susanne Bowen as CEO. She has over 30 years of sales and general management experience in technology and HCM companies going as far back as Webhire.

DHI Group, the company behind the job sites Dice and eFinancialCareers, among others, has named Art Zeile as CEO, replacing Michael Durney. Zeile co-founded and ran the cloud-solutons provider HOSTING and, notably to DHI Group followers, has raised over $500 million in equity and debt capital during his career. He also has turnaround experience.

HCM Technology People MovesSmashFly Technologies promoted CTO Thom Kenney to chief executive. The company said founder and CEO Michael Hennessy pushed for the move so he could take on a newly created role focused on product innovation and market thought leadership. Before being appointed CEO, Kenney led the company’s product, engineering and operations teams.

Lorraine Hack joined Korn Ferry as a senior client partner in its technology practice. She’s based New York. Hack came to Korn Ferry from a global executive search firm, where she was a member of its technology and consumer practices.

Mercer named Macaire Pace as West1 Market CEO, based in Seattle. She will report to Ken Haderer, President of Mercer’s North America Region. Previously, Pace spent more than a decade at Willis Towers Watson, most recently as the managing director and market leader for Metro New York.

Andrew Katz has joined Nexxt as chief operating officer. He’ll oversee all business operations, including Nexxt’s business development, recruitment advertising, and strategic alliance efforts. He was previously president of Startwire.

Payspan, a provider of healthcare payment automation solutions, promoted Rob Pinataro to CEO and appointed Mark Chapman as president and CFO. Pinataro served as COO for nearly three years before the move. Chapman was previously CEO of VoApps, a provider of mobile telephony messaging technology.

First Capitol Consulting hired Mark Dwyer as vice president, data science. Dwyer will oversee the firm’s efforts to expand its data and analytics capabilities in areas including workforce management.

The Toronto-based Human Resources Professionals Association appointed Louise Taylor Green as chief executive officer. She begins work on June 4, 2018. Currently, she is senior vice president and CHRO for Economical Insurance, one of Canada’s leading property and casualty carriers.

Melissa Manley joined Purchasing Power as vice president of financial planning and analysis. Working from Atlanta, she’ll also oversee the e-commerce voluntary benefits platform’s financial and risk management analytics operations. Previously, Manley was vice president of finance and business at Bookit.com.
