Beeline’s New Platform Combines VMS With IQNavigator’s

Procurement VMS Management

Beeline, which provides contingent-workforce sourcing and management solutions as part of its vendor management systems, introduced Beeline One, “a new unified experience” that will provide single-login access to the solutions of both the Beeline and IQNavigator platforms.

Procurement VMS ManagementBeeline was acquired from Adecco in 2016 by the private equity firm GTCR, IQNavigator’s owner. GTCR merged the companies into a single business under the Beeline brand. At the time, the companies told the website Spend Matters their long-term plans were to merge the best features of each platform into one product.

The announcement marks the completion of the first phase of Beeline’s convergence strategy, the Jacksonville, Fla., company said. Now, both VMS products take advantage of the company’s new Horizon microservices platform, which was developed to facilitate their integration. Beeline One’s interface will provide users of both systems with a common set of tools. As a result, the company said, it will offer more flexibility, scalability, stability and performance without requiring any sort of migration.

Beeline said Beeline One users will be able to “do more with less effort” by using new features such as cross-system searches, a personalized manager experience, increased automation and simpler data access for IT teams. Those data capabilities include real-time communications between connected systems such as provisioning, identity management, HCM technology systems and business intelligence tools.

According to Spend Matters, Beeline began developing the Horizon platform last year in order to combine the functionality of Beeline and IQN. The platform already supports five capabilities that were previously available on the legacy platforms: self-sourcing; rate, time and expense engines; supplier scorecards; SmartView workforce analytics; and mobile capabilities.

Features such as single sign-on and “fine-grained” user role and permissions configuration will be especially valuable for managed services providers and suppliers, Spend Matters noted. Beeline has a working prototype of Beeline One that encompasses high-priority capabilities, and expects the begin rolling them out this year.

Beeline made the announcement at its annual user conference in Amelia Island, Fla.
